Overview The Cooler Master 20U 30 kW Liquid-to-Air CDU improves the efficiency of the heat load from IT hardware in thermal labs, enterprise IT rooms, colocation sites, and edge deployments, dissipating 30 kW of heat. This second-generation 20U CDU increases the maximum secondary-loop liquid flow rate by more than 15% and the primary-side air flow volume by more than 18%. The combination of the radiator and 15 fans facilitates heat exchange with an approach temperature difference of 11.6°C — improving heat exchange efficiency by 26%, reducing the approach temperature difference by 1.4°C, and increasing cooling capacity by 20% over the previous version.

The Cooler Master 30 kW CDU features numerous sensors that measure flow, pressure, temperature, and leakage, enabling accurate monitoring of fluid conditions. Operators can use CDU performance data to make actionable decisions regarding preventive maintenance, address possible errors or malfunctions, and receive alerts from the alarm system integrated into the CDU via the touchscreen interface or operations and monitoring via the Redfish API. The optional Multi-Machine Linkage operations upgrade, an innovative feature, improves operational efficiency and provides scalability up to 32 CDUs.
