Maximize the Power of Water

1.4 MW Liquid-to-Liquid In-Row CDU

Overview The Cooler Master 1,400 kW Liquid-to-Liquid In-Row Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) manages a 1,400 kW heat load. The CDU effectively segregates the primary and secondary loops using two parallel brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE). This enables high-capacity liquid cooling for data centers to provide significantly higher power and compute density. The high-efficiency heat exchanger can produce an approach temperature difference (ATD) of 5 degrees Celsius with 1,400 kW heat dissipation.

Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Efficient 1,400 kW heat load cooling capacity
  • 2°C to 45°C (ASHRAE W2 - W4 Liquid Cooling Class) Facility Water Supply
  • 1,500 LPM maximum secondary flow rate
  • 7-inch HMI Touch Screen Display
  • Sanitary flanges and clamps for connection
  • 46U In-Row chassis
  • Integrated Command, Control, and Monitoring via TCP/IP and Modbus TCP
  • Menu-Driven Controls: The system displays user menus for Status, Data Curves, Alarms, Setup, Power consumption, Configuration, Service and Diagnostics, Sensors, etc.

Benefits:

  • High heat load capacity.
  • Power consumption is only about 19.5 kW.
  • Easy installation using sanitary flanges and clamps.
  • The stainless-steel heat exchanger's gasket-less brazed structure provides high heat transfer performance, with a maximum working pressure of 30 bar (435 psi).
  • Condensation control is achieved by bypassing the primary supply's low-temperature fluid to the return.
  • It ensures the separation of facility water from IT equipment, allowing the use of different fluids in the secondary loop to suit specific requirements.
  • The IT equipment cooling loop (secondary) can be accurately controlled and monitored using pH / ORP and conductivity sensors and filters.
  • Provides alarm monitoring for the real-time status of the fluid condition and the local environment.
  • Sensing cables connected to sensor amplifiers are used for liquid leakage detection.

Harness the Power

The Cooler Master 1.4 MW CDU contains numerous sensor components that measure flow, pressure, pH, ORP, conductivity, temperature, relative humidity, and leakage, enabling accurate monitoring of the fluid conditions. The user can use the CDU performance data to support actionable decision-making for preventive maintenance, address potential errors or malfunctions, and respond to alerts from the CDU's integrated alarm system.
