Twisting the dial to align to on/off switches the amount of airflow and changes the bass accordingly

(B) DRIVERS WITH TITANIUM COATING
Upgraded titanium coated speaker diaphragm greatly reinforces the sound quality and elevates the bass performance to the next level. The powerful drivers convert the signal into sound and transmit it into the aluminum chamber where it internally resonates the sound. Here 90% of the sound is processed.

(C) MESH
After resonation in the aluminum chamber, this mesh acts as the last gatekeeper of the whole procedure and fine-tunes the last 10% of the sound to perfection.

Coolermaster Masterpulse Earbud Review

We can't be the only people who've gone through dozens of pairs of ear buds. Whether you've brought cheap ones and found them broken within two minutes, or their tiny size causes you to lose them, friends "borrow" them, or the tiny cable proves as robust and reliable as it is tangle free, our music listening history is littered with the corpses of broken in-ear headphones. Thankfully the Masterpulse manage to solve nearly all those problems whilst providing great sound quality and a cool trick up their sleeve. Sound quality is where headphones begin and end and the Masterpulse are very good. No matter what we chose to listen to from our eclectic selection of music the Masterpulse rewarded us with a full, rich soundscape. They are slightly tuned towards the lower end of the frequency spectrum, but given how bass is always the first thing to go when you get down to this size of headphone, it is something Coolermaster should be applauded for. The dial on the back of the ear-buds mean that even the heaviest bass-head can be satisfied as there is a noticeable difference between the dial at minimum and maximum. It's almost witchcraft, but if you gnash your teeth at how tinny standard in-ear headphones are you can rest assured that the Masterpulse will satisfy your craving for thumping lows. The cables are high quality too. Their flat nature means they were far less likely to tangle than the more common round cables, and the coating is thick enough that we don't fear the cable breaking either. With an in-line remote and carry case you're covered whether using them on your PC or portable device of choice. The sound quality is very good and the bass dial, although a little fiddly to adjust with them in situ, isn't just a gimmick but genuinely enhances the bass frequencies without drowning out the higher notes. I think it’s safe to say that Cooler Master have produced something of quality with this headset, especially given its in-ear design and the associated limitations with that platform. While it’s not perfect, the MasterPulse is incredibly stylish, easy to use, and, after some EQ tuning (particularly in the face of the Bass FX feature), the full potential of this device can be unlocked. With a terrific in-line microphone to boot that makes for crisp and clear audio recordings, this product is ideal for gaming sessions. As a whole, it perhaps isn’t as “premium” as the packaging claims, but it’s certainly a solid effort. read review...

De ietwat ‘bassy’ Resonar maakt in feite dus plaats voor een meer volwassen MasterPulse welke zorgt dat de meeste muziek, en de meeste niet-muziek content, iets beter of althans correcter tot je oren komt, maar hierdoor verliest Cooler Master wel een beetje zijn unieke selling point (voor de bassheads) wat het lastiger maakt op te vallen in een extreem drukke productcategorie; BassFX is er nog altijd en werkt soms goed, maar slaat in andere nummers juist weer door. De nieuwe kleurstelling en het totale pakketje zijn ook wat volwassener geworden, en m.i. ook erg aantrekkelijk zowel als cadeautje als gewoon voor jezelf. Overigens komt er ook een geheel witte versie aan als dat je meer aanspreekt. Uiteindelijk zal het nu aan Cooler Master zijn om te zorgen dat de prijzen binnen perken blijven vergeleken met andere gaming merken zodat dit MasterPakketje ook aantrekkelijk blijft om aan te schaffen. Op prijs zullen ze natuurlijk lastige concurrentie ondervinden vanuit China, maar het is dan ook wel het vermelden waard dat de meerprijs voor ‘Europese’ producten zich ook uiten in gunstigere garantievoorwaarden en –afhandeling. Nu gaan mijn Resonars hier al 2 jaar mee (niet dagelijks maar wel wekelijks gebruik) wat een aardig uitgangspunt is voor de MasterPulse, maar in geval van nood is het een prettige wetenschap dat Cooler Master eventuele problemen direct vanuit ons landje kan verhelpen. read review...
