I'm convinced that this is a good unit. Although it can easily be a deal breaker by lacking modular design, I honestly think that it's easily made up for with the sheer flexibility in the available connections. With the purchase of this power supply, you can very easily forget about flexibility with upgrades over time. I've run into that problem before when adding to my PC and it's no fun having to pick and choose what stays and what goes.
Its intelligence in fan control really knocks down the noise as well. Which is nice when the system is idle or under moderate use, making an eerie difference when just surfing the web.
With all of the aforementioned items and protections in mind, I can easily recommend this one folks.

Cooler Master's GX 750W has proven itself to be a very capable power supply. With impressive stability, quiet operation, compact design with plenty of connectors and sleeved cabling, this PSU brings a lot to the table and does so with a fairly modest price tag. Available at several online retailers for just under $120 US, I would consider this PSU to be a pretty good value for most any enthusiast (and let's face facts, the majority of enthusiasts just don't need anything larger than 750W, if that.) At this pricepoint, the GX 750W has some stiff competition, but its small footprint may make this unit very attractive to many users. While I had no cabling issues when I used it in a mid-tower chassis, the cables may be a tad short for the largest full-towers. Users should consult the cable length chart on the Cooler Master website.
All in all, this is a great little PSU with impressive performance in a very compact package. Although not modular, the connectors are plentiful and well laid out and will support all modern motherboards and graphics cards. High efficiency and a 5-year warranty are icing on the cake that is the GX 750W. Mr. Bones and I have had good luck with the upper echelon Cooler Master power supplies in the past, and we have no reason to believe the GX series units will be a disappointment.

Well I normally hate non-modular power supplies, and I mean hate the excess of wires is a complete annoyance. I take back all the bad things I said about them because the Cooler Master GX series power supplies are unbelievable. This PSU ran rock solid through everything I threw at it. I overclocked the i5-661 to 4.4 Ghz with no power fluctuations or any hardware failures. This power supply offers optimal power for any overclocker while still keeping the noise to a minimum.
Would I recommend the GX Series? Absolutely! If you are in the market for a great PSU with rock solid voltages the GX series is for you.
