The Cosmos S is definitely an impressive case. It features plenty of room for all your high end components as well as excellent air flow to keep them cool. The Cosmos S does this all while sporting a stylish look. The case is not perfect, and improvements could be made, but Cooler Master’s Cosmos S is worthy of Maximum CPU’s stamp of approval.

I think Cooler Master definitely has a winner with the Cosmos-S which currently goes for around $199 US. I have no problem in recommending the Cosmos-S for the hardcore gamer(s) / modder(s) out there.

Even though it does have a few features we'd like to see enhanced - for example the HDD drive arrangment and perhaps more attention to noise levels - and the price (at which Cooler Master says it will initially be sold for) is somewhat higher than we think the market will allow, the Cooler Master COSMOS S is, in our eyes, a well built, very attactive-looking case that extends upon the thermal control performance of the original Cosmos and offers a good solution to gamers and some power users.

The Coolermaster Cosmo S is an exceptionally well made case, but it is not without fault. For one, the lack of a reset button, and strangely placed touch-sensitive power button will cause some frustrating issues. Providing the tight drive bays are sorted, this is an admirable case, with striking looks and powerful cooling.

The Cooler Master Cosmos S is an awesome case. There are many things I like about the Cosmos, but generally speaking, it's probably the overall adaptability to the user's individual needs. Like how the front drive bays go all the way from top to bottom and each one is available externally. If the user wants to put their hard drives at the top and the media drives at the bottom they can do that. There's plenty of room to install additional fans up front or even the top or bottom of the case if more cooling is needed. Top fans can be mounted inside or outside the case, allowing room to hook up a single, dual or triple sized radiator for water cooling. The included fans are all very quiet, even running at full speed.

“…I think the chassis is like a little slice of heaven.”
“Everything has been thought trough well, and that includes airflow, it's user-friendly, has pretty good cable-management, is reasonably in weight as the bigger parts are made in aluminum and on and on.”
“Everything about the case seemed well thought out and nicely implemented; the side panels slide smoothly into place with almost no effort and the touch power button is the type of thing we enthusiast end-users get goosebumps from.”

Conclusion
If you have a planning or water and has a strong emphasis on performance, with the Cosmos S very well served. Who is also still nursing really wants, however, should think about the 200-mm fan in the side or at least not to herunterzuregeln. This is thanks to 3-pin connector but easily possible, and therefore not a serious criticism. The problem of excessive weight of the predecessor's Cooler Master has also taken to heart, and the Cosmos S to below 14 kg reduced - indeed, no lightweight, but it at least, is a Bigtower and the handles are still quite portable. Really, we have something to suspend the Cosmos S is not. With its unique design and quality of its processing, it is always a possible solution for a high-end system. We talk about this housing purchase our full recommendation.

The Cooler Master Cosmos S is without doubt one of the most well thought out cases I have ever encountered. From small things like the easily removable fan filters and quick-release doors, to the ability to install a monstrous triple 120mm radiator in the top of the case with no modifications needed, the Cooler Master Cosmos S has it all.

CoolerMaster Cosmos S withdraws Tweak'O meters up to 100 points just as stable as the first version of the Cosmos in 1000 did it in 2007. It is because of the many news and features from previous series are combined in a design that just says 2 pairs of everything. You must be a fan of the somewhat unconventional design, but the Cosmos S is a breath of fresh air to the market. An enclosure with plenty of space and opportunity and Synapse function is a real cheeky detail.

The Cooler Master Cosmos S full tower case is definitely one of a kind. The first thing that caught my eye was that it looked like a hot sports car, thanks in part to the stylized meshed side panel that conceals a 200mm fan. Cooler Master really included many new features that I would expect to become a standard with high end computer cases, like the very cool touch sensor that replaced the standard power button. When building a high end computer system many user's focus on the internal components and not on the case, but with the Cosmos S arriving in March, the case should become a high priority.

With the RC-1100 Cosmos S, Cooler Master has taken an already well-designed and award-winning chassis, the Cosmos 1000, and successfully pushed it to the next level. Some of the highlights include it being a very roomy chassis, effective cable management possibilities, aluminum construction, support for water cooling systems, and a touch-sensitive power switch. This "Sports" case is targeted at computer enthusiasts and gamers alike. We're pleased with the improvements made to the Cooler Master Cosmos S.......

The Cosmos S is nothing short of an amazing case. CoolerMaster have taken the original Cosmos design and made some major changes to make it look even more high-tech. The darker colors as well as the red lights used on the front fan, power button and connectors give the case a mean look that will feel right at home in any enthusiasts setup. The capacitive sensitive power button gives the case a unique feature while the connectors located on the top ensure file transfers to external devices will never be a problem.

We say almost flawless because, the chassis still has some minor, minor things that can be easily overlooked, such the lack of some of the premium goodies included in the Cosmos 1000 or the jarring appearance of the cover for the front I/O ports, which is really a very subjective issue.

"The Cooler Master Cosmos S Case is mostly aluminum except for a few plastic parts. Despite this it’s still fairly heavy but this is due to its large size. It comes in a gunmetal gray color with black brushed aluminum side panels. This color combo looks very sharp and should match most home/office setups. This case has great styling and build quality, excellent air circulation, lots of room to work, plenty of drive bays, and much more. This is one of the top cases on the market. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end."

Cooler Master certainly out did themselves when they redesigned the Cosmos full-tower enclosure. The new black and gunmetal gray color scheme with sleek curves and futuristic styling borrows queues from both race cars and starships. The overall size and look is retained from the original Cosmos 1000 but numerous styling changes have been implemented on all sides and the Cosmos S is noticably lighter thanks to a new aluminum chassis.

The Cosmos S gave us plenty of room to build a system that can survive today’s hottest processors and video cards thanks to perforation everywhere and the 200mm fan did a really good job of delivering air where we need it. If water cooling is your forte then the Cosmos S gives you the room to make it happen, I can’t wait to see what the modders come up with for the 3x 120mm fan area along the top of the case, be it external or internal.

The Cosmos S, the Sport version of the original Cosmos delivers on its promise; it has a flashier exterior design, fancy new features and competes at the top end of component cooling performance. It is indeed true to the “Sport” tag Coolermaster gave it.

This case is one of the best cases I've reviewed. It's virtually tool-less, leaving only the motherboard and hard drives needing tools. I would have liked to see Cooler Master include additional thumbscrews for both purposes.

Cooler Master took precautions to be sure that the Cooler Master Cosmos S gets into an owners hands in pristine condition. They pack the case well in a strong box with foam. Cooler Master also went the extra mile and put the case includes a brown cloth bag with a drawstring to keep dust and scratches from marring the surface during shipment. All of the internal edges of the case are rolled and no burs were around in my case to cut fingers during the build. The chassis is very roomy inside; so much space is available that you could possibly have issues with some PSU cables not being long enough. My TurboCool PSU was perfect on cable length, but it has longer cables than many PSUs on the market.

The fans, especially the 200 mm one, are very quiet when connected to the mainboard. The large side fan is the perfect step up from the 140 mm one in the original Cosmos. The push to secure and release any installed 5.25" devices is the best screwless implementation I have ever seen and really works incredibly well. Cooler Master has taken the award winning design of the Cosmos made it lighter, pimped it up so it will look even better under your desk - and called it Cosmos S.

The Cooler Master COSMOS S excels in a number of key areas. First off, there is simply so much room within this chassis that installing virtually any hardware combo will not be an issue. The open accommodations also make it easy to work within the case, which is another plus. The layout of the I/O ports is also very good, the cooling fans are quiet and perform well, and mounting drives is quick and easy too. The only areas that could use some improvement are related to the push-button optical drive locking mechanisms, which could be tighter and the power button, which is overly sensitive.

As I said before, Cooler Master never leaves anything at "good enough", with each new case they are constantly refining and improving to make the best product available to the consumer. I am extremely impressed with the Cosmos S case and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the market for a full sized chassis.

Cooler Master has done it again with the Cosmos S case, they have brought a great looking case, with a simplistic design with excellent build quality, to the market that is also able to keep the temperatures down. Cooler Master took a look at the Cosmos 1000 case and improved on it and added the features to make the case better and released it as the Cosmos S case, which worked very well.

Cosmos S looks mean and neat, especially when you install a whole system inside and turn everything on. The fun starts there, with red lights coming from everywhere - from HDD module to something we haven't really seen before - you actually have background light on the front panel of the case, as well. It just looks like a light show and just amazing in the dark.

Cooler master has done a terrific job in putting together the Cosmos S RC-1100. Every angle I looked at, every item I took apart to place the hardware in, was all well thought out. They have really raised the bar with the modder in mind with this case.
Inside the Cosmos S there are a lot of touches that most companies try to touch on but don’t do as well as Cooler Master has put together here. With the Wire management holes pre-cut into the tray, the ability to add a radiator internally (if water cooling), and a clean aluminum look inside. These all add up to less work for the end user once he gets this creative piece of hardware to their house.

Cooler Master has really surprised the market by releasing the new Black Label while we are in the middle of an economic downturn. The economy may explain why such a small number will be sold here in the US, a mere 10%. The limited numbers will surely make the Black Label a collector's item among those of us who collect rare parts. Still, others who do not consider themselves collectors will surely want to get in the action as well.
