We were really surprised with this power supply. Since it “only” has the standard 80 Plus certification, we were expecting it to achieve, in the best case scenario, efficiency between 80-82%. And since the latest power supply from Cooler Master with standard 80 Plus certification we tested, GX 750 W, proved to be a true “bomb” with efficiency below 80% and noise and ripple above the maximum allowed, to be honest we were not expecting much from Silent Pro M 600 W.

Coolermaster has something here in the Silent Pro M 600W. What they have is a nice, well performing, efficient power supply that doesn't make a lot of noise. As most other units I've looked at there are some drawbacks like the cheap group regulated design and the not so stellar performance in the overshoot transient testing, but things like the above average regulation for a group design and the awesome ripple suppression goes a long way. Would I buy one of these? Yes I would.

The CoolerMaster Silent Pro M 600W is better PSU series to help simplify the 600 Watt choices. It goes back to the traditional single 12 Volt power rail and still maintains the high efficiency standard. I have problem recommending this PSU to anyone in an entry to moderate level gaming system.

Even though the Silent Prom M did provide a very steady stream of power at idle and full load conditions, it really didn't put out that much heat in either situation.
All-in-all I am very pleased with the product Cooler Master has put out. It performs astoundingly and is very quiet, yet at the same time doesn't create all that much heat.

Wer ein leistungstarkes Netzteil für sein SLI oder Crossfire System sucht, oder einfach nur Reserven fürs Übertakten benötigt, wird von Cooler Master mit der neuen Silent Pro M-Serie vorzüglich bedient.
