If we have to do a choice between this 2 new chassis, the CM 690II win thanks to its high level of finishing and also by its quality of manufacturing which gives to this chassis a very easy mounting. The design is sober and offers the last trends of the market. The Hot swap is really a big plus

The 690 II is also a very well featured case, comparable with much more expensive chassis. Cooler Master have integrated almost everything we could ask for from plentiful front panel connections, an entirely black-painted interior and tool-less access to both hard drives and optical drives. One other attractive feature of the case is the water-cooling potential; aside from the two external water-cooling holes in the rear, there is also space for dual radiators in both the top and bottom of the case, if we remove some of the hard drive bays.

With the chassis CM 690 Advanced II, Cooler Master is doing well in order code: chassis to provide a relatively cumbersome but capable of providing a good internal space that can meet the needs most experienced user. Le rinunce cui questo chassis costringe sono davvero poche. The disclaimers in this chassis are very few forces.

Would I recommend this case? Yes, considering my only drawbacks are aftermarket cooler access and the new ATI cards not being able to fit this is another win from Cooler Master design team. Anytime you mix an all black chassis with blue LED’s you have a good chance of getting good grades on this site. I also love how the new CM cases come with a LED toggle so when you need it to be dark it can be dark this is why this cases is a featured part of my new i5 build and will probably stay on my list for my testing rigs until CM makes me a case that is just as awesome with the little quarks fixed.

The CM 690 II Adavanced is worthy" facelift" of the already successful CM 690. Useful new features, good quality, hardly a coherent design and weaknesses in the process leave little room for criticism.

The Cooler Master 690 II Advanced itself is supremely well put together, an increasingly common trait from Cooler Master, and feels wonderfully solid both inside and out. The interior is well laid out as well, with excellent cable routeing options thanks to generous room behind the motherboard tray and plenty of pre-cut cable routing holes. The tool-less drive fittings are all more than up to the task, and are suitably easy to use too.

With the CM 690 II Advanced case Cooler Master ups the overall build quality of decent priced chassis yet another notch, something the competition can learn from. We can very much and wholeheartedly recommend this chassis. Oh and that SATA HDD/SSD dock ... we just LOVE it, what a terrific mid-tower the Cm 690 II Advanced really is.

The ease it takes to assemble a like this is awesome. The tool-less options are plentiful. A lot this has to do with the plastic mechanisms that are used to secure all the drives in place. Every company has their way of integrating drives into their cases. But Coolermaster has one of the fastest and simplest ways of doing so. One thing is there is no vibration features in place.

All in all, this case is beautiful to behold and very easy to work with. Installation is a breeze and if you’re into wire management, it is most definitely your friend. There are also very few mid-tower cases designed specifically with water cooling in mind. It’s a breath of fresh air to be able to put two radiators in a case without needing to step up to a full tower behemoth.

One of the things the 690 II Advanced has going for it is a lot of versatility. With support for mounting radiators in the top or bottom, SSD mount and an external hard drive dock the 690 II Advanced is ready for almost anything you throw at it. Cooling performance is good with the 3 stock fans and with support for up to a total of 10 you can tailor it to the level you want. Styling might be suggestive but I find the 690 II Advanced to be a great looking case and the black interior brings it all together.

One of the biggest features found in this case is the ability to install two dual 120mm radiators and still have room for a decent sized PSU, long video cards, and 6 drives of various types. We would have liked the option to use a triple fan radiator up top, however the addition of the top mounted X-Dock and relocated power and reset buttons prevent this from happening.

Cooler Master has launched the 690 Advanced with a solid enclosure at an attractive price on the market. The processing is described as "very good". The fan used with the built-in lighting will be the case once more visually. The ventilation concept leaves no room for criticism and consistently provides excellent cooling.

After going over the features and specifications of the CM 690 II Advanced chassis prior to the review, I had high hopes for the case. I wasn't disappointed. Cooler Master has taken the 690 design to the next level in virtually all the important areas. While the case performs admirably right out of the box and would be an excellent choice for almost any enthusiast, it is so remarkably configurable that an advanced builder could tailor it to virtually any hardware set by adding a few well chosen fans in strategic locations. The liquid-cooling community should also take notice of the 690 II. It isn't often that we see a chassis that will accept two dual-120mm radiators and fans without any modification.

We like disk dock on top of the cabinet as a good additional feature. Interest in appearance to the enclosure cool. At the same time it is so neutral in appearance that it not be screaming. This may be a case for both a powerful game machine and a powerful all-round PC or a workstation.

We were pretty impressed by the looks and the amount of features the CM 690 Advanced brings and such a low price-point really makes this case more than a bargain. In fact, we could easily find some more expensive cases that would stand in awe in front of what the CM 690 Advanced boasts, and all that at around €80. While we’re tempted to dare anyone to find a better case at this pricepoint, we’ll still have to stop here, but not before we dub our today’s test sample a Fudzilla Recommended case.

When it came to cooling, the case also performed well, especially considering it's a mid tower. It was able to keep every component running nice and cool while remaining quiet. The CM 690 II did all that carrying pretty good looks, more on the classy side rather than flashy. The front fan's blue LED can be turned on and off by the push of a button, which I found to be a neat addition.

The ability to remove items from the case that are not needed or to make room for things like dual radiators without cutting up a perfectly good case is a really big plus. The ability to use multiple 120mm or 140mm fans, and combinations thereof, to cool the case is a big plus."
