Both cases offer excellent cooling options. Out of the box, the HAF 932 is far superior to the 922 thanks to it's included side mounted 230mm fan. You really don't need anything extra with the 932 to get the best cooling capacity. It has plenty of room, and plenty of heft. Working with it daily, I soon wished it had roller feet. The rubber matted recess on top of the case provides a secure spot for placing your devices connected to the front I/O ports, although I placed internal hard drives connected to the eSATA port on the top exhaust fan to keep them cool.

Again Cooler Master does not disappoint us with a really interesting product, both in aesthetics and functional, as the ease of installation by not using tools and the excellent ventilation and further improve capacity, it provides many points for and to be the first choice in the choice of cabinet. The interior space is remarkable, video cards and large like the Radeon HD5970 cast doubt on that cabinet so you can come buy comfortably.

The Mini Cooler Master HAF RC-922 Mid Tower is a delicious base for a cool system in conjunction with the enormous amount of space, inasmuch as the suffix HAF (High Airflow) says it all. Das Komplettpaket wird durch ausgesprochen gute Verarbeitung und sinnvollen Features zu einem fairen Preisgefüge unterstrichen. The complete package is highlighted by very good processing and intelligent features at a fair price structure. Die Probleme des RC-932 wurden allerdings übernommen, auch beim RC-922 Gehäuse fehlt eine Lüftersteuerung, um die Lüfter zu zähmen. The problems of the RC-932 have been accepted, however, even the RC-922 case lacks a fan controller to tame the fan. Darüber hinaus gestaltet sich die Reigung des Frontlüfters sehr umständlich, denn dazu müßte die Frontverkleidung abgeschraubt werden. In addition, the inclination of the front decorated fan very complicated, because to the front bodywork had to be unscrewed. Das Thema Staubfilter scheint bei Cooler Master auch keine sonderlich hohe Priorität zu besitzen, diese notwendigen Acessoires fehlen abermals. The issue of dust filter appears at Cooler Master have also not a particularly high priority to these necessary Acessoires again missing. Insofern darf man unseren Gold Award als nicht sonderlich kratzfest betrachten. To that extent we may consider our Gold Award is not particularly scratch resistant.

we like the HAF 922 very much and in it's genre it's just as respectable as the 932 version is, perhaps even a little better here and there. The Cooler Master HAD 922 be found for 80 EUR / 90 USD in e-tail at the time of writing this article, and we feel that is a fair price for a product that just makes a lot of sense. Definitely recommended.

The HAF 932 is the ideal chassis for anyone that is looking for a case with outstanding air moving capabilities and even though it may move more air than any chassis on the market it is designed in such a way as to be able to do it with while being barely audible thanks to high volume low speed fans used throughout the case.

It was difficult to choose a winner, but we can say that some details gave this victory to the HAF 922.But these two chassis are quite similar and maybe the design will be the main factor of choice.

Coolermaster did a great job of welcoming me to the computer building world with this great case! The massive fans on this thing keep my system cool all day long. There was plenty of room to work in and I never once felt cramped putting together this build. The case has all the features I would expect a case to have. The hard drive bays are particularly awesome to use, as instalilng a new hard disk is effortless. I love the rugged way this case looks, and the way that it doesn't "over do" the LED fan lights like some other cases do.

This case is nothing short of amazing, and I am really not surprised by its stellar performance. Installation of hardware was a breeze, and the higher airflow and increased space helped bring down the temperatures of the test system by an average of 10C which classifies as amazing in my book no matter how you look at it. I really would recommend this case to anyone who is looking for a mid-tower case to house the latest and greatest components.

I'm struggling with this one as the 922 hasn't exactly had the easiest start in life, trying to live up to the standards of its bigger brother the 932. You cant argue with the test results this case really did a great job of keeping the test set up cool.

Overall the case has been a pleasure to work with, the design and quality is good and it's nice to see features such as the tool-less drive fitting migrating from the top end cases. The spacious interior allows for excellent cable management which is enhanced by the protrusions in the side panels. Cooling is great with plenty of additional options for the user to explore, as seen in the testing, the standard fan configuration can be improved upon with a little experimentation.

The Cooler Master HAF 922 is a solid, no-nonsense chassis that's aimed at the user who requires a sub-100pounds case which focuses on airflow and ease of installation. Smaller than the HAF 932 but no worse off for it for most users, cooling performance, once the ambient temperature has been accounted for, is reasonably similar to other chassis in the same pricing space. Fan flexibility is another positive point, and the spacious interior provides adequate area to position a water-cooling radiator without any problems.”

I expected the 922 HAF to have good heat dissipation results, so its outstanding thermal performance only made it sweeter. I had also fully expected it to be another noisy case, but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it really was.

Cooler Master really wraps the HAF922 up with its warranty. With a two year limited warranty, the HAF922 has a pretty good warranty for a case. The case includes everything you need, including a manual in case you're a new user. Overall, the Cooler Master HAF922 is of the up most quality, has an excellent price, and is one of the best air flow cases I have ever seen.

Despite the fact that the case arrived damaged during shipping, I completed the review on a positive note. The case offers excellent cooling with up to 7 fans on a mid-tower case. Cooler Master has taken nearly everything into account with the HAF 922 Mid Tower case including water cooling, long video cards, proper wire management and a really interesting look. The case had plenty of room to work with and a hole for the CPU mounting bracket, allowing for removal of the CPU without removing the motherboard. Cooler Master has a Hot Product with this case due to all of these factors with the only negative being short feet.

I really enjoy using this case. The cooling is better than my previous case as it offers more fans and airflow and the aesthetics just look plain cool. It barely fits on my desk as a mid-tower case but still falls happily in that category. With the option of a large, 230 mm fan on the side, I plan to add one soon to increase airflow. Additionally, the durability of this case is amazing and looks like it will hold up for years to come.

Cooler Master has really served notice with the HAF 922, proving that a mid-tower case can offer premium features, excellent quality, a ready-made water cooling setup that won't require any modding, and a spacious layout that shames many full towers we've seen. The icing on the cake here is that the price tag is extremely attractive, leaving us with the feeling that the HAF 922 is probably the only mid-tower case we've seen that could make a full tower setup seem unnecessary. Indeed, the Cooler Master HAF 922 is one of the very best mid-tower cases you'll find on the market.

The HAF922 has plenty of air flow with its factory supplied case fans, but if one wants to add another case fan later, there is room on the side panel for a 200mm fan. The price point for the HAF922 being less than the HAF932 is attractive to consumers wanting to get their hands on a high airflow case, but can’t afford the HAF932. So, if you put aside the two design points we listed, the HAF 922 is quite a solid case with plenty to offer. TechwareLabs would like to thank Cooler Master for sending us the HAF 922 case as it is truely a work of art that we would approve of for anyone

PCWizKid tried hard to find flaws with the HAF 922 mid tower, but there isn't much to complain about. This is a terrific starter case for a gaming rig. With plenty of room and airflow the design, quality and features of Cooler Master HAF series cases once again makes it a PCWizKid Recommended product. As seen in the video review the aggressive looks and functionality gives hard core gamers the ability to install multiple GPU's, CPU cooling and overclock taking their rig to the next level. The cooling options are positioned in the right spots for keeping components cool and the inside fresh. The inside support for cable management is excellent. If your looking for a case that's not to big or too small, this one will fit your budget and your needs.

Given the attractive price we favor the HAF 922 is minimal against the HAF 932 and give it 5.9 points and excellent addition to our Cooling Award. The HAF 922 looks at the casing 100 euros currently surely his peers. Comparable housing is either not offer the same amenities or are rapidly more expensive. Some also smaller with 4-5 fans unnecessarily crowded and loud. Or they are in our eyes, perhaps simply functional but ugly. One fact led us, the HAF 922 our Editors Choice status.

This case is a solid performer with plenty of features that make it great. There are lots of little things I didn't have time to touch on like washable plastic filters in the front mesh bezels and a front e-sata port. A switch that turns of an on the light in the front LED fan. These are little details but added with the tooless design, ease of use, and the High Air flow design make this case an exceptional deal for the price point. I would like to say at this point it has been a real pleasure working inside the HAF 922. There are no sharp edges to worry about, there is an abundance of included user friendly features, and the HAF 922 does provide very adequate airflow as CoolerMaster ships it and there is no real need for extra fans in my opinion. The HAF 922 also has a love it or hate it look, as does the 933; but I personally find this 922 to be a tad less industrial looking, yet still offering most of the benefits of the HAF 922’s bigger brother.

It seems that Cooler Master has done it again and brought another excellent choice to the mid-tower chassis market, worthy of its place. Differentiating itself from the similarly priced Storm Scout, the HAF 922 brings to the table a water cooling heritage and the raw rugged look of the HAF series. While it seems the HAF 922 is less refined than some of the popular Cooler Master cases, it also seems that Cooler Master had the market in mind when creating a case to fill the mid-tower demand at a relatively low price point. MSRP of the HAF 922 is $129.99 and accessories (such as a third 200mm fan if you so desire) can be found at the Cooler Master store. Similar to eVGA's "B-Stock," Cooler Master has a refurb section with some great deals, so keep an eye on that to pick up an inexpensive power supply or cooler.

The Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid-Tower case is an excellent choice for gamers, enthusiasts, or anybody who wants to have a great looking case while also keeping their components cool. Installing components is nearly tool-less, and the only time you will need any tools will be when you mount your motherboard and power supply. The large fans will keep your system running cool while keeping the noise level to a minimum.

I wasn’t surprised one bit when I had everything setup and computer never heated up. The HAF is designed to force as much air into the case as possible, keeping everything ice cold. What did surprise me though was the noise level; it wasn’t dead silent like the Sileo 500 that I reviewed not long ago. However, considering the open-air design and amount of fans the case was very livable. Infact, having reviewed the Twelve Hundred and the Nine Hundred in the past there is no doubt that it is quieter.

The HAF 922 is a shiny example of what many people want in a mid-sized gaming case. It has rugged good looks that we saw evidence of in the HAF 932. But unlike the 932 the 922 is lighter and a little shorter. The size is right up my alley as I am not a big fan of very tall cases except for maybe the ATCS 840. oolless drive installation, ability to turn the LED off on the front 200mm fan, extra vertical PCI slot and the large amounts of room are just a few of the features that we have been raving about in the lab.

Mid-tower cases have seemingly always had to sacrifice in one area to make up for others. If you got one with good airflow, then it often lacked in space. If space was good it would then have issues with wiring. If those two areas were good then you just couldn't fit that oversized heat sink and the side panel fan. There was no way to please all of our desires.

"Cooler Master is one of the biggest names of the chassis market. Recently, the company is very active and is on the way to take the leadership on its direct rivals. Antec continues selling nice volumes of chassis but we can’t say that there is a lot of new models”
“Is this case HAF 922 as high as HAF 932? Answer is obvious: yes. And it has nothing unexpected as seen as the last chassis taken out by Cooler Master these last years. At each new model, it is blow winning on blow winning for the Taiwanese company”.

Overall, the HAF mini is an exceptional mid-tower case that is full of many features that many computer enthusiasts desire in a case. The black exterior provides a sexy yet rugged appeal. The quick tool-less installation for nearly every component made installation a snap. Holding true to the series name (High Air Flow), the HAF 922 blows away most mid-towers with excellent fan options. And, finally, in these times of economic uncertainty, the HAF 922 should be a decent bang-for-buck option as we expect it to be about $40 less than the HAF 932. Kudos to Cooler Master on designing another top notch case.

Following the success of the full tower HAF 932, Cooler Master has now successfully extended their product line to a mid tower with the HAF 922. It has a strong appearance and I think they did a good job on the HAF 922. The open design of the HAF line makes for nice air flow throughout the case. Cooler Master really seemed to listen to its customers on the HAF 922 design by responding with improvements in most areas that the larger HAF 932 lacked in. Cable management is one area of improvement, here you have many places to run cables behind the motherboard tray and built in spots for cable ties that really helps to clean up the case internals. Tool less design is very important when it makes sense the lack of tool less clips for expansion cards is a huge bonus in our book.
